The Landing Short Film Trailer Version 2
A man returns to the Midwestern farm of his childhood on a desperate mission to unearth the horrifying truth of what landed there in the summer of 1960. This is my second attempt at creating a trailer for this Perception Pictures film. This particular version delves deeper into the true extent of the story, with a slightly different sound bed. Rocky Balboa Motivational Monologue Video Edit
This video emphasizes that life is not always easy and can be cruel and unfair. It can bring you down and keep you there if you let it. The speaker reminds the person that it's not about how hard life hits, but about how resilient you are and how you keep moving forward. They encourage the person to know their worth and go after what they want without blaming others for their current situation.
The idea was to cut together some stock footage, add some graphic and motion design over the top of a great monologue from one of the later Rocky movies. Read More
Finding Neverland (2004) Trailer Video Edit
The story of Sir J.M. Barrie's friendship with a family who inspired him to create Peter Pan.
I built this trailer by picking out visuals I liked, a music cue that fits the story's emotions well, and adding sound effects to enhance the audio bed. This trailer is a good attempt at telling the main story of the film, although it does seem a little dialogue heavy to me after rewatching it. Maybe we'll give it another attempt sometime. Read More
Cinestudy Horror Scene Video Edit Challenge
A fun project to work on. Cinestudy provided the footage. My part was to organize the footage, form the story and cut it together without the aid of a script. Sound effects were added to try and enhance the footage and some color grading to try and set a darker mood. Read More

I wish I could remember where I found this footage provided specifically for practicing video editing. The quality is good and the amount of footage is not overwhelming for cutting together a very short film.
